Student Life & Service

High School Shecares We are SheCares Club, a service club formed by a group of students dedicated to improving women’s health, focusing on educating young girls on menstruation and addressing period poverty. We aim to raise awareness about menstrual health issues and reduce the stigma surrounding periods in both our school and school in rural areas. We are committed to creating a more informed, supportive, and inclusive environment for menstrual health inside and outside of school. Currently, our goal is to raise awareness about menstruation and promote better understanding of menstrual health through posters and our social media page. We also aim to reduce period poverty in Thailand, especially in rural and underserved areas, by donating sanitary pads and supporting students in need.

CIS Stem CIS STEM is a student-led club focused on applying science, engineering, and entrepreneurship to real-world problems through innovation projects and international competitions. This year, the club expanded from small-scale engineering activities into a collaborative innovation team that combines research, sustainability, business strategy, and technology. One of the club’s major projects is Plastic Gobblers, a service -based sustainability system that uses mechanical preprocessing and waxworms to reduce plastic waste while generating usable compost for urban green spaces. Through this project, CIS STEM participated in multiple international innovation and business competitions, including Envirotech, the Conrad Challenge, and the Blue Ocean Competition. The team was also recognized on the Conrad Challenge’s official Innovators List.

As a newly established club, we have already recently installed two sanitary pad boxes in our secondary school bathrooms located in the SAT building and P building bathrooms to provide high school students easier access to menstrual products and support them during their period. The two boxes are currently under a trial period where we are gathering feedback to better improve the accessibility of our boxes. We believe that we would be able to expand this project and install boxes in other areas of Not only do we explore science based competitions, our club also the school, for instance the middle school building after the one explored finance and entrepreneurship through the UC Berkeley month trial period has concluded. With love, Stock Pitch Competition, where students developed and SheCares Team presented investment analyses on public companies using real financial and market data.

Throughout the year, CIS STEM encouraged students to combine technical knowledge with problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills. The club continues to grow as a space where students can transform ideas into practical solutions with real-world impact. Gimmy - G11 - Co-president

Kindergarten Smiles The most meaningful part of the trip was spending time with the children. We played games, shared meals, and created unforgettable memories together. One especially heartwarming moment was treating the children to KFC and seeing how happy and excited they were. Their smiles reminded us of the true purpose of our club.

One of the most memorable experiences this year was our 3 days and 2 nights trip to โรงเรียนวัดสง่างาม in Prachin Buri. During the trip, club members worked together to repaint the playground and surrounding areas to create a brighter and more welcoming environment for the children. From painting court lines under the hot sun to adding colorful artwork and designs, everyone contributed their time and effort. Although the work was tiring, watching the playground come to life made the experience rewarding for all of us.

We would also like to sincerely thank the Class of 2026 and all Kindergarten Smiles secretariats for organizing this trip. Their dedication and leadership made this experience possible. This trip allowed us not only to give back to the community, but also to grow closer as a club while creating memories we will cherish for years to come. Angie and Ping - G11 - Co-presidents
