Case Study - Broadway’s visit to Conaty’s Showrooms for their new bar and restaurant opening

Ian and Rory from Broadway Restaurant visited our showrooms and under the guidance of our Showroom Manager, they looked at the various styles of tableware available, carefully considering how best each piece would work for them. Their preferred option was to have their tableware branded with their logo. Firstly, they decided on the tableware shapes that worked best for their menu. They chose to have their brand on the Elevate range - Oval Plates, Coupe Plates, Pasta Bowls and Side Order Dishes. BRANDING INFORMATION

Logo submission requirements

• PDF, SVG, or PNG files are accepted

• The logo must have a transparent background

• High-resolution (unpixelated, nonblurry and large enough to cover the area of the product being branded)

• 300 DPI (This refers to the ‘Dots per inch’). This can be selected when your graphic artist exports your logo.

The logo size and colour options will be determined by the printable area on the product chosen to be branded.

Choose the logo orientation (portrait or landscape) to suit the branded product.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. I have a JPEG version of my logo, can I simply convert it into a PNG, PDF or SVG file? No, the resulting image file may still have a non-transparent background and may not be of suitable quality.

2. The logo I have is too small, can I simply resize it to meet the requirements? No, the stretched image would be too low-quality.

3. Do I require a graphic designer to create my water carton design? If you do not have a graphic designer, we may be able to create a design for you, enquire using the link below.

WATER CARTON SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

If you do not have a graphic designer, contact your Area Sales Manager directly or enquire at conatycatering.com/branding for design options on our branded water cartons.

If you are using your own graphic designer, we will provide you with a template PDF file that can be edited using Adobe Illustrator.

Your graphic designer must provide the following:

• A PDF file of the completed design for preview/reference

• A PDF with all font files included in an attached folder

• A PDF with text converted to curves/outlines

• An Adobe illustrator file (.ai) with all of the images linked

• Images should be saved at 300 DPI and must be high-resolution

• If Photoshop (.psd) files are used, these files must also be submitted to us and prepared with layers.

• Spot colours should be defined using the Tetra Pak colour library located in the template PDF file.

• If there's a specific colour target, it should be sent to a Design Consultant to find the closest matching Pantone colour. Failure to adhere to this may result in the colours being slightly different from the design you intended.

4. I no longer have access to a good quality version of my logo, what do I need to do? If you cannot contact your original graphic designer you will need to hire a new designer to remake it for you.

5. Can you use the logo that is on my website or social media pages? No, in most cases these logos are too small or low quality.

6. The background of my logo is quite important, can I have my logo printed with the background? Yes, in most cases, depending on the colour requirements.
