Our versatile space unites three outstanding facilities under “one roof”: Comwell H.C. Andersen Hotel, Odense Concert House and ODEON. A venue that gives you endless options to choose from.
We can host up to 1,740 participants for large conferences, congresses, exhibitions, trade fairs, meetings and company parties, as well as teambuilding, workshops and events – all because the setting is ideal for accommodating multiple people at the same time. Our three buildings are located next door to each other and form the perfect, welcoming and versatile facilities for your guests, right in the heart of Odense.

Welcome to the ODEON foyer
When you step through the elegant main entrance into ODEON’s impressive and grand foyer, you’ll get a rousing first impression and a stylish taster of the unforgettable experience that awaits you. The foyer offers plenty of space for your guests to gather, as well as space for exhibitions, networking and buffet areas. There really is room for everyone here.
The foyer provides direct access to a spacious cloakroom on the lower ground floor, which seamlessly connects to a large public underground car park with 1,000+ parking spaces. One of the great advantages of this setup is that it allows you to walk directly from the car park into ODEON, so you can stay dry and comfortable even when the weather isn’t on your side!
The foyer also provides direct access to the impressive Great Hall – the perfect space for hosting a wide range of events. With seating for up to 1,740 in a theatre style, or 1,002 in a congress setup, this expansive space provides a wealth of options for events, company parties and more. The Great Hall’s versatile design allows it to be divided into different spaces, making full use of the two stage areas for exhibitions, breakout rooms or medium-sized conferences.
ODEON’s first floor
From the first floor, you’re treated to a stunning view of the ODEON foyer, with the magnificent Le Klint lamp taking centre stage. From this vantage point, you’ll find two entrances to the Great Hall’s first balcony, along with wide staircases that elegantly ascend to the second balcony entrances. You’ll also find the entrance to Restaurant Schiøtz here, seamlessly blending into the foyer to become an essential part of larger events when the need arises.
The first floor foyer provides a unique space for exhibitions as it creates a natural flow between stands, displays and access to the Great Hall and the floor’s other bright and inviting rooms and lounge areas.
More conference rooms on the second floor
The ODEON’s second floor boasts nine additional meeting rooms and spacious common areas of various sizes. All meeting rooms on this floor are strategically placed around the Great Hall.
Third floor with flexible options
Our venue is designed to host a large number of guests, which is why you’ll find two additional highly flexible meeting rooms on ODEON’s third floor. These can be used separately for split meetings, workshops or similar activities, or combined into one large space for larger presentations or other group events. Exhibitions, parties and event spaces
At Odense Concert Hall we offer two large halls and two spacious meeting rooms, ideal for use as breakout rooms. The large foyer areas are perfect for breaks, exhibitions or larger events and serve as a natural gathering point when there are many participants. With its rich, warm colours, exquisite woodwork and exceptional acoustics, the Concert Hall radiates ambiance, instantly elevating every experience.
The ground floor foyer provides direct access to the Pro Musica Hall (K2), a versatile hall perfect for conferences, lectures and events. The hall is equipped with a fixed stage and can be customised for a wide range of setups. It can also be integrated with the foyer to create a seamless transition and maximise space.
Stairs from the ground floor provide access to the Carl Nielsen Hall (K1) on both the first floor and the lower ground floor. This hall is designed to host large audiences, making it the perfect venue for conferences, congresses, exhibitions, company parties and events. With a flexible stage in three different sizes and an adjustable seating system, it is particularly suitable for both concerts and congresses. The Carl Nielsen Hall offers a one-of-a-kind ambiance, where the warmth of its materials and flawless acoustics work together to provide an experience that is truly memorable.

Our venue benefits from a fantastic location in the heart of Odense, which provides a unique epicentre for meetings and conferences. Located just a few minutes’ walk from Odense Station, with the Light Rail stopping right at our door and only a 15-minute drive from the underground car park to the motorway, we are easily accessible for all.

At ODEON and Comwell H.C. Andersen Odense we have, among other initiatives:
• Installed solar panels on the roof, contributing to our energy consumption
• Used reclaimed wood for the flooring in ODEON
• Introduced waste sorting and an updated waste management system
• Implemented initiatives to reduce food waste
• Achieved the Bronze Organic Cuisine Label (30–60% organic ingredients)
• Obtained REFOOD certification for our work to minimise food waste
In our kitchen, we prioritise seasonal ingredients and continuously work to optimise resource use and energy consumption in our daily operations.
