He calved great and the calves outweighed expectations. 550’s Dam is faiths last 4-H heifer out of the dam of the kks 505n bull in this sale. 550 is as sound and long as it gets. He’s bred for calving ease but doesn’t lack the power of the other bulls we have in the sale. I think this bull has a lot to give in terms of style and structure and could be a lot of fun to own.

The first son born at our place off the new outcross herdsire Sturgis. We purchased Sturgis with partners Bry-Ann Farms and Hansen Livestock in the 2024 Denver sale from Nagel Cattle Co. Springfield SD. 501N is a stout big boned meat and muscle bull. We liked him so much we hauled him to the city where he was chosen Champion Maintainer Bull Farmfair 2025. In a conversation I had with Blane Nagel in the spring of 2025 about Sturgis he told me “ that bull will breed bigger than he is” ……Blane was 100% correct.
Here he is! The most talked about bull calf that we have ever campaigned. We have been trying to make an elite purebred red Maine-Anjou for awhile and when this guy came out red we couldn’t have been more excited. With the combination of muscle, bone, shape and true masculine character, we believe 510N can be a true herd changing sire for any breeder in the country. 510N is the closest thing to royally bred as you can get at Pick Six. His mother has produced multiple national champions including Pick Six Heaven Sent 02H the World Congress champion in 2021. His sire was at the side of LSCC Sweetart 121E when she was proclaimed Agribition champion in 2023. Power in the blood!
Here is a pretty cool dude that checks a fair few boxes in my opinion. Sired by the Ashworth bull KWA Roosevelt and out of a rock solid Circuit Breaker cow. This guy should go a long way to improving feet and legs. Great dark red hair. Chill personality. 2nd heaviest bull in our pen. Cow has lots of milk. Here is good honest bull that carries a little extra frame. He is 3/4 fullblood out of a no miss home raised cow. Dam had a “wow” udder and the sire left us with amazing uddered females. His sire Anchor D Montaro was a definite cow maker and left us with a few nice pens. I would venture to say this guy should correct the bag without sacrificing the milk.
