CHARITY CALLOUT Amar’s call for donations to meet food relief

O

UTGOING Australia’s Local Hero of the Year, charity founder Amar Singh expressed his disbelief donations are dying up from typically generous people while soaring prices of goods leave struggling families depending on their help. “We didn’t expect this year to be as busy since we started our food relief during the bushfires, floods and pandemic that there’s a lot out there travelling as far as Campbelltown and Blacktown to sustain their families,” Mr Singh, Turbans 4 Australia founder said. “We do get a lot of requests from people on limited income because they’re not earning enough and can’t support everything they need."
