HE Parramatta community will soon benefit from a brandnew facility where they can drop off household waste items for free, thanks to an initiative from the City of Parramatta with support from the NSW Government. The new recycling centre in North Parramatta is expected to open in the coming weeks, allowing the community to dispose of certain household problem waste items for free. It’s one of over 100 recycling centres across the state, underpinned by the NSW Government’s $66M program to support the collection of hazardous household waste materials within NSW. More inside.
