LACKTOWN Boys High and Blacktown Girls High are among the few most improved in Greater Sydney based on the 2023 Higher School Certificates results released by the NSW education department. The department used top two and top three band HSC data from the Centre of Education Statistics and Evaluation to recognise its most improved schools across the state. Top two bands include bands 5 and 6 for HSC standard courses and E3 and E4 for extension courses, while top three band include bands 4-6 (standard) and E2-E4 (extension). Blacktown Boys took top two and three bands while Blacktown Girls took top two bands to join other high schools with strong improvement in HSC results. More: page 11
