HEN I first started the Australian Ladies in Business Initiative Community, it was to overcome something I was experiencing in my journey as a business owner and that was loneliness. Running a business can be one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever do, but let’s be honest… it can also feel isolating. There are days when you’re your own cheer squad, your own accountant, your own marketing team, and your own IT support. And in those moments, it’s easy to wonder: am I the only one feeling like this? That thought there, motivated me to create ALIBI. I wanted to build a community where women could connect, be real about the highs and lows, and know they weren’t alone. Continued page 6.
