own officials, residents and members of the running community celebrated the installation of a statue of Bobbi Gibb near the starting line of the Boston Marathon on March 27, cementing Gibb’s trailblazing legacy 60 years after her defiant run. Gibb | 4
Calli Korbey, a former Hopkinton High School basketball standout who now coaches the Hopkinton Middle School girls team, is set to attempt her first Boston Marathon as a fundraiser for the town’s Veterans Celebration Committee.
