with the Ellie Fund, a Needham-based organization that provides “essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life.” The services include grocery gift cards, transportation to medical appointments, childcare reimbursement, and more. For the Massachusetts native, taking on the Boston Marathon is a dream come true. “I’ve always been a spectator for so many years, so I’m excited to be on the other side as a runner,” Choudhury said. Through her diagnosis, surgery, recovery, and finding her new normal, Choudhury’s road to Boston has been one lined with love, grief, and courage. For her, destiny led her to 26.2 miles.
