or many couples, their dog is a special guest at their wedding, often serving as part of the wedding party, such as ring bearer. According to People magazine, WeddingWire surveyed nearly 800 couples who have pets and found 38% included their pet in their engagement and/or wedding. “When a dog is part of the family, couples should absolutely consider including them in their wedding,” says Aspen-based wedding planner Jenny McDonough, owner of Stargazed Weddings and Events.
