SOME ACTIVITIES THAT WILL BE HAPPENING • Credit Repair • One-on-One Mentoring • Budgeting/Organization Workshops • Help with applying for disability • Targeted services for Senior Citizens & Veterans • Landlord Coalition to strengthen tenant relationships • Community Poverty Simulations • Weekly Resource Workshops to help people apply for County/State benefits, defining barriers preventing one from getting ahead, registering folks for their GED. All in our 12 station Computer Lab • Healthy Cooking on a Budget in our Demonstration Kitchen - Make your own meals from scratch • Office space available for collaborative partners. One of the reasons Christian Neighbors has grown and become so successful is the level of support we get from our community! Eighty-five percent of our resources comes from individuals and businesses. Your Help Matters. You could be a volunteer mentor. Any cooking skills to lead a cooking class? Any computer skills to offer in a workshop? Interested in learning how to support seniors or veterans?
