IMAGINATIVE PLAY Combining resources for creative learning Being engaged in imaginative play allows children to represent their own ideas, thoughts and feelings through a wide range of activities. They can invent their own stories and scenarios in small world play, start to make-believe by being involved in role play, express themselves through music or dance, or use open-ended resources to be creative in their own ways.
Its thoughtful design and beautifully crafted details make it an excellent choice for children who love imaginative play and storytelling. Dadsnet Awards

CAD planning & rendering
The project started with concept sketches and cardboard models to explore form, scale and a construction method suitable for children to complete themselves. A detailed 3D CAD model was developed, with in-house 3D printing used to add play elements like animals and ladders. The final stage involved producing technical drawings and collaborating with the factory to bring the design to life!

Wooden Building Gem Blocks
Tested & trusted tickit products bring a sense of wonder, precision, and possibility into play. Their materials are open-ended, beautiful to handle, and invite exploration across every area of learning, from light, colour, and pattern to shape, texture, and movement. Each piece feels designed with deep understanding of how children think, investigate, and create. Alice Sharp, Early Years Educational Consultant You can build the perfect learning environment with mainly home sourced material. But if there is one brand worth spending money on, it’s tickit® Education. Simply because… they really got it right! Blog Post on How2Montessori Thanks to my introduction to tickit® about 4 years ago, the hours I’ve spent trawling websites for exciting toys have been drastically reduced and buying resources has become a pleasure.
