If you are interested in improving your exercise program, then include a cardio workout that burns calories while working legs, core, shoulders and chest. Burpees build strength and agility while improving cardiovascular health.
Burpees Step-by-Step Description:
Begin standing with feet shoulder-width apart. Lower into a squat, placing hands on the floor in front of you. Jump or step your feet back into a high plank position, keeping your body in a straight line.
(Optional): Lower your chest to the floor and push back up. Jump your feet back to return to the squat position, landing outside your hands.
Explode upwards into a jump (or raise onto toes to avoid jumping), reaching your hands overhead.
Start with 2-4 burpees in quick succession and build up from there. Your goal is to breathe heavily with your heart rate rising. Jog or march afterwards to bring your heart rate back down gradually.

This is the season for cheesecake! In addition to the upcoming Yom Tov of Shavuos, I love making this cheesecake for Shalosh Seudos during these long summer Shabbosim. From my kitchen to yours…enjoy!
2 Graham Cracker boards (optional)
1 container (16 oz) full fat cottage cheese
1 tablespoon whipped cream cheese
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 250∙F.

1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar (can reduce sugar to taste)
¼ teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoon flour
If using graham crackers, place graham crackers in a blender and pulse a few times. Set aside crumbs and rinse blender. Place remaining ingredients, except for the eggs, in a blender and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides. Add eggs and blend again. Pour into a 9 inch round baking pan and sprinkle crumbs on top of the batter. Bake for 1 hour. Turn off the oven and leave cheesecake in the oven for another 25 minutes. Refrigerate until serving.
Note: This cheesecake can be made in 10 muffin tins for small cheese snacks. Each cheesecake will contain approximately 100 calories and 6g of protein.
