“The Columbia Chronicle” is a multi-media, student-run news source that has launched journalism careers for many Columbia students over the years.

The School of Communication and Culture offers programs that provide you with the knowledge, skills, and real-world experience that are essential for a wide range of careers. Columbia’s facilities support hands-on learning across media and communication disciplines. Highlights include a Live TV Studio with advanced streaming technology; our Digital Content Studio for green screen and postproduction work; the studentrun WCRX radio station; and professional audio recording booths and DJ turntable workstations. Students also produce content in the newsroom of “The Columbia Chronicle,” the college’s award-winning media outlet. On campus, you’ll also find collaborative learning spaces to support team-based, real-world problem solving.
