WE ARE HERE FOR YOU In 2022-23, the CSO continued serving our community through “We are here for YOU,” an innovative three-year initiative centered on extraordinary and meaningful service, which is making music accessible to all. A sample includes:
Here for Students 250 students enrolled in 4 youth orchestras 5,076 students attended Young People’s Concerts 7,547 students accessed free remote curriculum 11,000 students reached at school concerts
Here for Families 2,525 children ages 6-16 attended Masterworks concerts for free
Here for Neighorhoods 6 free community concerts at local parks in diverse neighborhoods
Here for Heroes 1,600 free tickets for veterans, active-duty military, front-line workers, and families
Here for Ohio 10 Ohio counties outside of Franklin County were directly served by CSO programs in their communities, reaching 16 zip codes 14,000 people reached across the state through performances outside our concert hall
Here for Inspiration Over 4,000 hospital workers and families reached during our visits 23 free performances at senior/assisted living facilities
