We are very excited to have Bobby Kneisel, CEO of KTech Solutions, be our speaker at our Friday, Sept. 16 luncheon to discuss ‘Cyber Security for Businesses.’ Some of the topics that will be covered: • What are the biggest risks to small businesses? • What are the trends that affect small businesses? • What is cyber security and why small businesses should care about it? • What are the best ways to protect yourself and your business? Chamber endorses Issue 58 The Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce is proud endorse Issue 58, an operating and bond issue for the Hilliard City Schools. On Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, the board of directors approved supporting issue 58 which will ask voters to approve a 4.5 mil operating levy and a $50 million bond issue. The chamber’s decision to support the levy was based on a number of reasons, first and foremost, we believe strong schools create strong communities. We strive to ensure that our community is the center of economic innovation and development. The chamber board supports issue 58 as an investment in a high quality educational system and its facilities. A ‘yes’ vote is a vote for our future workforce and an improved quality of life for area citizens.
