ENGLISH Orinhu® is a decorative finish featuring a unique blend of antique velvet and modern metallic effects. Its flat pearlescent velvet texture rejuvenates living spaces and creates a tranquil and sophisticated atmosphere. Technical Name Pearlescent finish with a velvet effect. Key Properties • Unleaded • Water Based • Washable after full curing • Non-flammable • Odorless • Available in 6 attractive bases: 700, 709, 718, 727, 730, and 750) • Very low VOC content in compliance with: - EU directive 2010/79/EU - French decree No: 2011-321 Pack Size • 1 US Quart - (0.85 kg) • 1 US Gallon - (3.4 kg) Recommended Uses Suitable for interior applications. For exterior use, Orinhu® must be protected with Decorator Varnish (Flat, Satin, or Gloss) Type of Substrate Plaster, embossed wall coverings, gypsum board, concrete, cement rendering, brick work & block work. Finish Pearlescent finish. Coverage Approximately 10 m2/kg/coat – 2 coats required. Drying Time 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on temperature and humidity.
Thinner No thinning required. Preparation All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose & flaking material. Rub down & rinse. Prime the susbtrate with the appropriate Colortek® Co.Acryl or C1 Family. Instructions Apply Orinhu® in random directions. After 5–10 minutes, apply a second coat and smooth the surface using the special Orinhu® spatula or trowel with alternating strokes to achieve the velvet effect. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or when rain is expected. Recommendation Proper lighting is essential to fully reveal the pigment sparkle and achieve the best visual effect. Cleaning Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
