Coming to Colorado! 2020 World Tour’s Denver Location

he popular South Korean boy, Monsta X, is coming to perform at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Tickets are on sale now for $49.50 to $149.50. The concert will be on Monday, June 29, 2020, at 7:30 PM. The concert is part of Monsta X's 2020 World Tour. The new album, All About Luv's, romantic release is February 14th. The group stated that the album is all about love and is a Valentine's gift to fans who stand with them day and night. As their first full English album, it is a special gift for fans in America. As the album will be released this month and the concert is not until June, fans will have plenty of time to memorize fan chants and songs to fully enjoy the concert experience.
Monsta X debuted on May 14, 2015, as the final survivors of Starship Entertainment and Mnet's survival show, No Mercy. The show had 12 trainees compete with each other in various performances and missions. No Mercy's final seven survivors became the "monsters conquering the K-Pop scene" and "mon star" ("mon" meaning "my" in French). The “X” at the end stands for an unknown and unlimited possibility for the group. Their fan base name, “Monbebe,” also uses French and means “my baby.” Monsta X showcases powerful music and dance with bold fashion. The group currently has 6 members: Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. This is following the departure of Wonho in October of last year. The group
has always had a focus in the U.S. Their first US appearance was at the KCON 2015 in Los Angeles, the same year as their debut. The group went on 3 World tours, but it is their first time in Colorado. It is not often that we have a K-Pop group visit our high-altitude and land-locked state. hope all of you are keeping to your New Year’s resolutions. It is okay if you failed to. My guess is that most people fail to keep them after a month into the new year. However, if you are thinking of purchasing an existing business or starting a completely new business, then failure is not an option. For most entrepreneurs, business failures would create much loss both financially and emotionally. So, what can you do to make sure you have a better chance at success? Colorado ranks fourth in the nation as one of the best states to start a business. I heard that part of the reason for this is because of the support you get from the state and the city governments willing to help new and existing business owners. I personally attended one of these events yesterday. The title to the event
was “Fired Up: I Want to Start a Business!” It was hosted by SBDC (Colorado SBDC: Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center). I have started a few businesses and purchased a few existing businesses in the past twenty years; however, I still learned valuable information from this twohour event. Most of these failures were due to poor business planning, lack of management, lack of expertise and guidance, lack of cash reserve, misreading the market, and most of all, lack of preparation. If you are thinking about starting a new business or buying an existing business, I once again recommend you attend these classes provided to you at no cost by SBDC or similar government agencies available to you. How to Protect Yourself
from Rising Rates of Violent Crime The hard facts tell us that there have been 629 robberies, rapes, aggravated assaults and homicides in the Mile High City during that time period per 100,000 people. Although the 2019 statistics are still being analyzed, chances are that since the population continued to expand last year, so too did the prevalence of violent crime. According to Governing.com, the City of Denver employs approximately 24 law enforcement officers per 10,000 residents – a metric consistent with most major cities. This brings the reality of personal safety into a sharp focus by making it painfully clear that there simply are not enough cops to protect the entire population at any given time.

The average 911 police response time in Denver is 13 minutes. This means that you’re better off being mugged in Detroit, Chicago, New York, L.A., Seattle, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta or Houston. Coupled by the fact that the ubiquitous “To Serve and Protect” motto emblazoned on the side of squad cars is currently rendered in a font small enough to be a VIN number rather than a mission statement – the message is clear here: if trouble finds you, it’s up to you to find your way out of it, or better yet, to make sure it never gets you in the first place. Therefore, while taking the law into your own hands is never advisable, taking responsibility for your own safety is practically mandatory. Living in a highly populated area with a dynamic array of socioeconomic backgrounds means that danger is likely rather than probable and precautious favor the wise. Here are some strategies you can use to increase your home’s safety and that of your loved one and pets while expanding awareness across your community.
Install An Extra Set of Eyes The rapid development of video technology has made home surveillance systems quite affordable. Individual cameras for your front and/or back door sell for as low as $30 and entire home systems can be purchased for a few hundred dollars and monitored via smart phone application from just about anywhere. In the event of an uninvited visitor or someone who is possibly “casing” the property, you can share images online with your immediate neighbors so that by the time the police arrive, a profile of the perpetrator has already been established across the community. Develop Habitual Safety A wise patriot once said, “This is America, lock your door.” This applies to your home as well as your car – especially when you are in it. Just as an unbolted front door allows unfettered access to your homicile and everything in it, an unlocked car door is an invitation to a criminal. Whether or not you are in the car can determine the severity of the outcome. Although a locked door may not stop a severely motivated burglar, it can stop some criminals who do not want to expend the effort and increase their chances of being caught. Also, if you are in your home and someone is trying to break in through a locked entrance, the time it takes them to contend with the deadbolt hardware can buy you
precious moments – maybe not the 13 minutes it could take for the police to show up – but at least enough time to escape the premises through a window or another door. Illuminate Your Domain If the overhead lights in the alley behind your home or on the street in front of your home are dim or not working very well, report the problem to Xcel Energy. Bright lights are the top deterrent of criminal activities, since predators would not want to be detected too soon because of the light. A comprehensive exterior lighting scenario should be

Motion-activated sensors are highly effective and very affordable – and can be purchased for as little as $30 a piece at any home supply store. Make Sure You Know Your Surroundings In the case of an imminent threat – be it at home, school, work – knowing the whereabouts of any and all points of entry can save your life and your loved ones. Most buildings designed for pub-
lic and residential use have at least two entrances. In addition, you should be aware of potential hiding spots from which you could be ambushed while going from your car to your front door or even vice versa. These cases include narrow walkways which give a way to open courtyards, dimly-lit stairwells, tall hedgerows and privacy fences. Spicy Kimchi Stew (Kimchi Jjigae or Kimchichigae) Total: 35 mins / Prep: 10 mins / Cook :25 mins / Yield: 4 servings Ingredients 3/4 pound beef (thinly sliced), 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 2 cups kimchi (the kind made with Napa cabbage), roughly chopped, 1/2 onion (chopped), 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped), 1 tablespoon kochujang (Korean hot pepper paste), 1 tablespoon kochukaru (Korean chili flakes), 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 3 cups water, 1/2 block tofu (cubed), 2 scallions (chopped)
Korea’s national dish, kimchi, is a spicy, pickled cabbage that is served as a condiment with almost every meal. Kimchi stew (kimchi jjigae or kimchichigae) combines kimchi with other ingredients such as beef, onions, garlic, and tofu and is served bubbling hot. Fiery, hearty, and full of flavor, kimchi jjigae is great for cold winter days, but Koreans can eat it anytime, anywhere. It's one of the most popular stews in Korea and is featured at many meals and in traditional restaurants. There's just one thing to keep in mind when you're planning to make kimchi jjigae—it is spicy. Really, really spicy.
STEPS TO MAKE IT
01 Gather the ingredients.
02 Sauté the beef in 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil in a soup pot for a few minutes.
03 Add kimchi to pot and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
04 Add remaining oil, onion, garlic, kochujang, kochukaru, and soy sauce, mixing to combine.
05 Pour the water into the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer.
06 Cook for 20 to 30 minutes, adding the tofu after the first 10 minutes.
07 Add the scallions at the very end.
08 Serve this stew immediately after cooking, accompanied with steamed white rice. Enjoy!
