The most buzzed-about activities are adult programs and new trips. Plus, we've got some awesome ideas like family trips, trail work, fun social events, and splashing good times with water-based activities.
SUMMARY
What are the barriers to volunteering?
Many members aren't volunteering yet, but we asked everyone what’s holding them back. It turns out, things like busy schedules, tricky website navigation, the need for some training, location, and communication are the main hurdles.
Our members can't get enough of the awesome social and educational activities, especially those trips led by our amazing volunteers. Everyone's looking for more adventures, so we're on a mission to expand our volunteer leadership. If you are someone you know might be a good fit, click here to learn more! Insights from our 2025 survey revealed that this is what you care about most: connecting, trips, and meaningful ways to learn and give back We're working on our website, boosting volunteer support, and making it easier to dive into trips and courses. We're also ramping up social activities, looking into flexible memberships, and adding special programs for all ages. These steps are all about making CMC more open, friendly, and fun for everyone. We can't wait to keep growing with you, offering new ways to explore, connect, and jump in!
