I’m a native of the northwest Denver, Arvada, Westminster and Broomfield areas What do you like most about it? First of all, I feel the people are very friendly and willing to lend a hand. I love the wideopen spaces, how close we are to the mountains, and how easy it is to get around!
What is your specialty and what does that mean for the people you work with? I specialize in residential sales. Having lived and worked in the North area my entire life, I feel I bring a lot of experience and expertise to the table. I’m familiar with all of the subdivisions, and can offer valuable information to both buyers and sellers when it comes to purchasing or selling their home. What is the most challenging part of what you do? It’s sometimes challenging to maintain a balance between work and my personal life. I’m fortunate to have a very understanding husband and family! What do you most enjoy doing when you’re not working? I love to travel, particularly to warm climates such as Arizona and Mexico! What is one tip you have for someone looking to sell a house? Do whatever you can to make sure your home is “the prettiest girl at the dance”. Buyers will pay a premium for a home that they can just “walk in to” and make it theirs.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy a house? I always counsel my buyers this way: “Don’t buy anything until you have found the home that is right for you”. Buyers know the minute they walk in the door whether or not it is going to work for them, and an astute Realtor can notice that as well. I have a lot of patience, because the one thing I never want a buyer to do is to regret their purchase. I really want them to be happy with where they have chosen to live.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in Real Estate? The day I opened the door to show a townhouse, and a pot-bellied pig came around the corner to greet me. I almost had a heart attack!
