Editor’s note: On Aug. 13, less than 24 hours after the Elizabeth School Board voted unanimously to eliminate all classroom libraries across the district, the board announced that “through individual converstions” it had directed Superintendent Dan Snowberger to “hold” on that decision so the board can get “further feedback from staff.” No further developments were available at press time.
