Sergio Ferrer, of Georgetown, has pleaded not guilty to charges of firstdegree murder, felony murder and aggravated robbery in connection with Idaho Springs resident Paul Peavey’s death. Ferrer was dressed in an orange jumpsuit inside the Clear Creek County Jail surrounded by white cinderblock walls as he appeared via video in court Sept. 18 as prosecutors and his defense attorney paved the way forward in his criminal murder trial.
