Clear Creek County has honored a World War II veteran with local ties. On June 17, Clear Creek dignitaries and about 25 members of the

family of William G. Yost, known as “Red,” gathered to add his name to the World War II monument, which stands outside the Idaho Springs library along Miner Street. Idaho Springs Mayor Chuck Harmon, members of the Idaho Springs
