After we changed our nameplates, or “flags” as NOTE FROM they’re often called THE PUBLISHER in newspaper circles, many of you were concerned that we had abandoned the historical feel of the Courant and had become just another cog in a corporate machine. But know, readers, that couldn’t have been further from the Linda Shapley truth. While many from other papers we publish were happy with the change, we’ve heard your displeasure. My goal, always, is to be reflective and responsive to the needs of our communities, so now, I’m putting your voice up front. We’re looking for readers to decide our new look.
