Conifer’s proposed Shadow Mountain Bike Park is finally ready for public review by county officials. Both proponents and opponents of the controversial land use say they’re ready. During a pair of hearings scheduled for September, county planning and board commissioners will vote on approval of a special use application to allow development of a liftserved bike park. Two hearings are set: • The Jefferson County Planning Commission will consider the rezoning during a 6:15 p.m. Sept. 11 meeting. • The issue will then be heard by the board of county commissioners at 9 a.m. Sept. 24. Both meetings will be held at the Jefferson County administration building, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, in Golden. For park developers, approval is
