What is the most challenging part of what you do? Right now, it is finding the right properties. There’s not a lot of inventory.
Where were you born? I was born in France. My parents are French and we came to America when I was about 18 months old.
What do you most enjoy doing when you’re not working? I love to cook and travel. We have two Shih Tzu’s, Jack and Teddy that have replaced our children. We’ve filled the empty nest with our two dogs.
How long have you lived in the area? I grew up in New Jersey and I came out here for college to go to the University of Denver. After graduation, I never left.
Make sure you have great photos of your home and if you are selling in the winter, make sure you find some photos in the spring or summer to share with buyers. Great photos sell a house. What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy a house? Sit down and make a list of the things you are really looking for so you keep your focus. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with so many different things. Get a good picture of what you want by writing down your wants and needs and having a clear goal. What is the most unusual thing you have encountered while working in Real Estate? One time, when leaving a property and closing the door I ended up with the doorknob still in my hand. My client commented, “Have you been working out a lot lately?”
What do you like most about it? There are many friendly people, lots of sunshine. It has a slower pace, a city with all the amenities but not quite as energetic as Manhattan. I love the mountains, friendly people, sun; what most people come here for. It’s friendly and relaxed with great weather, unbeatable. How long have you worked in Real Estate? 20 years. It will be 21 in February.
