What is one tip you have for someone looking to sell a house? Clean, clean, clean!! Clean homes sell! If you want to sell your home, creating a tidy atmosphere will make buyers feel like your house is “Home Sweet Home”. I love working with my clients to show their homes in the best light. I’ve definitely built many strong friendships with clients over vacuum cleaner and dust cloth.
Where were you born? I was born in Fort Polk, DeRidder, Louisiana on an Army base camp. I’ve been living in Denver since December of 1981. How long have you worked in real estate? I’ve been working in real estate for over 20 years, since 1991.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve encountered while working in real estate? I had a man call me who wanted to buy his neighbors house. He said the neighbor was willing to sell it to him for a ridiculously low price, almost half. I asked them to come in to the office so that I could meet this generous man. I was shocked when this very giving man turned out to be the Deacon of my church who had baptized all my children. This happened 15 years ago and we still laugh about it. The generous Deacon is still very much in my life and has performed more memorable ceremonies for our family.

What is your specialty and what does that mean for people you work with? My specialty is people! I’m a very social person and I love making people happy. What is the most challenging part of what you do? The market has so many twists and turns that I have to be ready for anything. I’m not a person who likes to keep things routine, so change makes my job more exciting. I’m a gowith-the-flow kind of gal, so bring me a challenge and I’ll take it!
