Ava Arangua Francis (Actor) (she, her, ella) is over the moon to be joining Creede Repertory’s Outreach Tour! She was born and raised in Colorado and received training from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Past highlights include: Inheritance Kitchen (Japanese Arts Network); The City Dog and The Prairie Dog (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center); Anything Goes (San Diego Musical Theatre); Matilda (Town Hall Arts Center); Into the Woods (Arvada Center); and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and She Kills Monsters (Vintage Theatre). Ava would like to thank her beautiful family as well as Illiana and everyone else involved in this adventure!
Sofia Rodriguez (Actor) (she, her, hers) is thrilled to be joining CRT’s Outreach Tour! Sofia is a performing artist born and based in Colorado where she earned her BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Recent credits include: The Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s The Tempest (Juno/Spirit), Richard II (Queen’s Lady/York’s Attendant/Soldier), and Dr. Faustus (Devil/Sloth/Cardinal Lorraine/Duchess Vanholt). Other favorites include Troilus and Cressida (Patroclus) with the Prague Shakespeare Company, as well as university productions such as The Wolves (#46), A Streetcar Named Desire (Stella), and The Importance of Being Earnest (Gwendolyn).

Noemi de la Puente (Playwright) (she, her, ella) is an award-winning playwright/librettist/lyricist whose works weave together humor and social commentary, Noemi creates strong roles for female performers. Her work has been seen all over NYC, including Joe’s Pub and in the Lincoln Center American Songbook series. A monologue from Counting by Twos was published by Smith & Kraus (WE/US: Monologues for the Gender Minority). She holds an MFA in theatre arts from the University of Iowa (Patricia Roberts Harris Scholarship). She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, the PlayGround Experiment Literary Advisory Council, and founding member of Dramatic Question Theatre, as well as a recipient of Yip Harburg Foundation and Anna Sosenko Assist Trust grants. Fernanda Douglas (Composer & Music Director) (she, they) is a NYC-based composer and music director from Goleta, CA. Fernanda has written eight shows for young audiences (two of which are bilingual, Spanish-English) and five for general audiences. Commissions include: Raquel’s Purple Pineapple Adventures (Creede Repertory Theatre); The Fairy Goddaughter (Nashville Children’s Theatre, TN); and The Hobbit (First Stage, WI). When not writing, Fernanda teaches voice and piano lessons with Liz Caplan Vocal Studios, plays rehearsal piano for Moulin Rouge on Broadway, and attends the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop in NYC. Kaitlin de la Garza (Costume Designer) (she/ella/hers) began designing costumes in 2015 while earning her BFA in theatre design from Metro State University in Denver. She went on to design costumes for Evita (Phamaly Theatre Company) and Celestial Navigations and Divisions (Wonderbound Ballet). Kaitlin has worked at Utah Shakespeare Festival, Aurora Fox, Arvada Center, Town Hall Arts Center, Denver Center, the Newman Center at DU, and the Colorado Symphony. She took a few years’ hiatus to focus on other artistic pursuits. Creede Repertory Theatre will be her first time back to the magical world of costuming live theatre in the beautiful town of Creede.
Diamond Marrow (Tour Manager) (she/her) is a Stage Manager and Actor based in Philadelphia, PA. Credits include: Coyote and the Counting Game (CRT), CAMP X Bluey (RWS Global) Snake River Expedition (Cedar Point), and more. Thank you for coming to the show! Enjoy!
Brenda Perez de Tejada (Choreographer) (she, her, hers) is a director/ choreographer/performer originally from Mexico City, Mexico. She studied musical theatre and Spanish ed at Elmhurst College and has worked on over 40 productions within the Chicago and Seattle regions. She believes in the power of storytelling through movement and believes that everyone should take dance classes! Movement allows you to connect with parts of yourself that you’ve yet to meet! She is also a certified mindfulness and accountability coach and loves to weave mindfulness practices into everything. We’re all here, just trying to figure it out together—be kind to one another.
Nikolas Serrano (Scenic Designer & Illustrator) (he, him, his) is so excited to be returning to Creede Repertory Theatre to design this wonderful production and illustrate the accompanying book. This is a wonderful program that Serrano is very honored to be a part of! He also had the chance to design the set and illustrate the book for last year’s production, Coyote and the Counting Game, with CRT. Mo Bentz (Props Design) (they, them, theirs) is proud to be rejoining the company at Creede Rep for a fifth season! Mo is a multimedia artist, craftsperson, and printmaker originally from the forests of Oregon. They have a degree in theatre fabrication from Cornell College and have worked with theatres across the country, creating props, puppets, and scenic painting. Mo’s other passions include making music, reading outdoors, rainbow trout, horror cinema, and pink lemonade. You can view their work and join the Print of the Month club at patreon.com/BunkHaus333. Chevelier Wiggins (Sound Designer) (he, him, his) has been an audio artisan supporting productions across the state of Colorado since a very young age. He tours with Grammy nominee David Arkenstone & Friends yearly, but when he is home, his favorite gig is working with theatre companies to tell enticing stories. He is so thankful for a second season at CRT! It’s been over a decade, and Chevelier still wakes up with a passion for his job in entertainment!
