REGISTRATION
Registration can be completed online, in-person, or over the phone. Service fees apply for online registration and are non-refundable. Non-residents may register for programming and each class will incur a $5 non-resident fee.
Membership
Memberships are available to residents ages 13 and over at no cost. Memberships are required for residents participating in any recreation class, program, activity, or free play. A valid driver’s license is required to verify residency. Residents ages 13-17 must have a parent present to issue a membership. Residents 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) with a membership.

Master Mini Chef - All American Bites
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a week of hands-on kitchen fun! Evolution Academy Soccer Skills Camp
Join us for this week-long soccer camp for players born 2016 to 2021. Open to all players, especially those involved in or interested in academy soccer. This camp will be a fun and intense introduction to Evolution Academy. Players will work on balance and coordination, techniques for dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending, with scrimmages and skills challenges, and capped off by the popular small-sided World Cup competition. There will be a separate section for 5 and under players in the two-hour mini camp. Mining and Building (PM)
From the virtual 2D world of Minecraft to the physical realm of this reality, your child will practice their creativity and construction skills using the themes they know and love. As much fun as worldbuilding is in Minecraft with unlimited resources, the restrictions and challenges posed will have campers thinking of Minecraft and construction in new ways. Not only do we embrace the game’s ability to educate students about core concepts, we use it to creatively build on engineering concepts using LEGO first.

Junior Police Academy
The Colleyville Police Department’s Junior Police Academy is a handson, week-long program designed to introduce middle school students to the fundamentals of law enforcement and public safety. Participants will develop leadership, communication, and observation skills while gaining firsthand experience with many of the duties performed by local police officers. Activities may include handcuffing techniques, building searches, traffic stops, SWAT operations, drone demonstrations, CPR, and self-defense instruction. The academy is led by Colleyville police officers and includes presentations and activities from partnering outside agencies.
If you are interested in this class, please contact Officer Amy Beregszaszy at aberegszaszy@colleyville.com or 817.305.4907. A written recommendation letter from a school official (teacher, principal, etc.) or community leader (coach, pastor, etc.), along with a completed parental permission slip, is required prior to registration. Summer Youth Basketball League
The league is designed to introduce boys and girls to the game of basketball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching fundamental basketball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. League participation will be capped at a maximum of 40 teams across all divisions. A team will consist of 7–10 players. Teams will practice for one hour each week. The league will have six weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single-elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. No practices or games the week of Jun. 28-Jul. 4.

Coaches must contact the Parks and Recreation Department to provide their team information, book a practice time, and set up a team code. The team code is required for registration.
Free Agent Registration

Enjoy a well-structured game of volleyball that allows you to have a great time without the pressure of winning or losing. Adult 3-on-3 Basketball League
Join our adult basketball league for fast-paced, high-energy games. Teams play up to two games per night, with two 10-minute halves and a 2-minute halftime. All games are officiated and scored. Fit Strong for Active Seniors
This class focuses on a higher intensity for those ready to take their strength to the next level by using heavier resistance training with hand weights, tubing, and body weight exercises. Wendy will always teach age-appropriate exercises with good form that will allow you to increase your strength in a safe manner. Yoga Flow
Each month begins by exploring the alignment of poses, breath work, and meditation. Class begins with warm-up poses that allow you to stretch deeper and ends with cool-down poses to release muscles, allowing a deep relaxation. Each class adds poses, creating a fun flow, synchronizing with each breath. The last class of each month will feature a Yin Yoga session. No experience necessary, class is designed to provide options for all levels.

Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga practiced in a chair. The class begins seated and moves to standing with or without using a chair for balance. Senior Tai Chi
Tai Chi, also known as “meditation in motion,” is identified as one of the best exercises for seniors to maintain and improve balance while also helping to increase strength, flexibility, and stamina. As a low impact exercise, Tai Chi promotes mental and physical health. Starting with a warm up of standing stretches, the class will work on a standard form of slow movements that flow together seamlessly. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Dropin students who are unable to attend a class during the first two weeks of a month are required to wait until the beginning of the next month to attend. No class May 25.

Qigong
Qigong is a combination of two Chinese words, “Qi” (Chi), which means life force or vital energy, and “gong,” which means cultivation or practice. Qigong exercise focuses on harnessing and balancing the body’s vital energy to promote health and well-being. The class will focus on repetition of simple poses and low-impact movements in a way to strengthen muscles and improve overall fitness. Stationary poses and flowing postures help increase balance, energy, and flexibility. Because it is low impact and can be done sitting or standing, Qigong is suitable for all levels. Loose fitting or comfortable clothing and a water bottle are recommended. Preregistration required.

Tai Chi 2.0
In order to sign up for this class students need to know the basic Yang style forms and have a strong background in 24-form. The 2.0 class will focus on practicing and fine-tuning the 24-form as well as learning the 32-form or Tai Chi Fang. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, as work on balance, energy, and flow is integral to the lessons. As always, it is good practice to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Patriotic Puzzle Challenge
To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we are excited to present a Patriotic Puzzle Challenge! The challenge is set to take place over a week, starting Jun. 25 and ending on Jul. 2. Teams of up to four participants can join in the fun. At least one member of each team must be 50 years or older and possess a CV Parks and Recreation card; the other team members can be of any age. Players may only participate on one team. Teams will have 90 minutes to tackle the puzzle. At the end of the week, the team that finished the puzzle the fastest or had the fewest pieces left after 90 minutes will be crowned our Patriotic Puzzle Challenge champions! Each member of the winning team will receive a copy of the puzzle along with a gift card! Teams are required to contact Senior Center staff to secure a time slot for the challenge. Light snacks will be provided on Jul. 2 at 3:00 p.m. for all teams that took part. The announcement of the winning team will occur at this time. Teams do not need to be present on Jul. 2 to claim their victory.
