BENEFITS SUMMARY 2025-26 Collegiate School is pleased to offer a rich variety of benefit options designed to meet the needs of our employees and their families. Below is a brief summary of the benefit offerings available to eligible employees.
MEDICAL INSURANCE Collegiate School offers eligible employees who work at least 75% FTE, three options of medical coverage through Anthem. The Buy-Up option is a traditional plan that provides benefits services using a co-payment structure with a small deductible and co-insurance for certain services. The Core Plan is a Health Savings Account qualified High Deductible Health plan with a $3,500 individual deductible ($7,000 per family). The Buy-Down Plan is also a Health Savings Account qualified High Deductible Health plan with a $4,500 individual deductible ($9,000 per family). All three plans use Anthem’s Healthkeepers network of providers with access to a national network. All plans have out-of-network benefits available. The school pays 100% of the premium for employee only coverage in Anthem Buy-Down Plan. If an employee wishes to choose the Core Plan or the Buy-Up plan, or to enroll their dependents in coverage, a premium is paid by the employee on a pre-tax basis through payroll deduction. The rates typically change at open enrollment in September. If you are enrolling for the first time, your coverage will be effective on the first day of the month following when your employment begins (for salaried employees). For hourly employees, coverage is effective 30 days after employment begins.
