TUNES Don't think we forgot about the mixtapes. Since the first mixtape - released in September, 2020, we've continued our monthly installments with our latest; "The Tampa Bay Mixtape" to properly celebrate the sweet, sweet Super Bowl victory by our savior; Tom Brady. Since our last newsletter, we've collaborated with Alrig USA, featured the sounds of Florida and Michigan, celebrated birthdays, felt the effects of the winter blues, and honored "The Robots," in their retirement. The remaining offices will soon be featured, so stay tuned for curated playlists from Princeton, Boston, and of course NYC. Feel free to reach out to Team Sierra with any requests you have. Thank you to all of the participants of Project Stonefield 2021. We all have many different projects that we work on throughout the course of each year but the most important project that we work on every day is Stonefield. We continue to be a great work in progress that requires every single team member’s efforts to keep us moving in the right direction and living the Stonefield mission. Spring is here and things are looking up! This season is all about growth, rebirth and renewal. Native cultures recognize spring as a time to gather, confer with one another and make decisions that impact the community as a whole. The sun is shining once again and warmth is finally returning. As our cities and towns begin to open back up, we are looking forward to firing up our Stonefield events and spend some quality time together. Put a circle around that 4th Saturday in August as we are making plans to have our Jersey Shore Summer Party rocking and rolling again. We have a Stonefield softball scrimmage penciled in on the calendar versus our bitter rival Dewberry in the coming weeks. Small gatherings and impromptu get togethers are encouraged now more than ever as we continue to bring our teams and our entire company together. Teams, Zoom, and everything else have helped us get through this all together and see one another as best we can but we all know there has been something missing. Looking forward to creating reconnections. Move together; move as one.

DISTRACTIONS Hat Club is a new store that recently opened up on Broadway, just North of Houston St. It is the first membership-based store of it's kind, specializing in custom hats, carrying over 1,500 different styles, with over 7,000 hats merchandised wall to wall and floor to ceiling. The biggest draw to this particular store is the vertical conveyor belt of hats displayed in the window out front. Everybody in the NYC office is still scratching their hatless-heads at why you can't walk by without seeing a line of 10+ people at all times. Perhaps we should get in on the hype and invest in their hat duffle bag - capable of carrying up to 30 hats. If you go, please tell us about your experience so all of our life-long hat questions can be answered. We just want to better understand why everybody in line to buy a hat is already wearing one. Do they carry around that extra hat all day? No, they buy the hat duffle bag!
As it’s told, twins Romulus and Remus were ordered to death by a jealous king. Abandoned on the banks of the Tiber River, they were found by a Shewolf who suckled and saved them. Many years later, the boys returned as great men to build a city on those banks — the city of Rome. Our favorite restaurant in all of Detroit is none other than Shewolf. With it's pure excellence in the field of Italian cuisine, it's hard not to fall in love. Of course, it goes without mentinoing the importance of the forward-thinking, yet traditional executive chef Anthony Lombardo. His vision is the reason Shewolf was awarded restaurant of the year in Detroit in 2020. Shewolf is the obvious choice for your criminal carb cravings, and if a Stonefield cosign isn't enough to convince you, listen to the one and only Action Bronson!

team game night Despite the space between us due to COVID-19, Stonefield is still finding ways to engage employees and bring us all back together as one again. We're making the most out of the situation and utilizing video communication apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams to join together for "Team Game Night." Get ready for our first installment of Game Night on June 11th. Think Family Feud, Match Game, and Hollywood Squares as inspiration. Watch your host hold a long handled, tiny microphone in his hands while you compete against fellow team members to find out just who is the best of the best. Some trivia, comedy, and special guest stars are just a little taste of what you can expect. Please tune in virtually or in person, and be prepared to participate in the greatest game show that has ever existed. "Planet Stonefield" is all about bringing us together and having a blast while we do it. There is no shame on this planet, only a good times and good vibes while being surrounded by good people.

internal referral program New to Stonefield in 2021 is the "Internal Referral Program" aka Stonefield Bounty Hunters. We are now rewarding you all for referring new potential employees. The purpose of this program is to give incentive to Stonefielders who wish to surround themselves with like-minded, forward-thinking, badass engineers and designers alike. The more we continue to replace ourselves, the more success we will see individually and as one. We have no intention of slowing down anytime soon. Effective date is January 1, 2021.
