TUNES The Omega Men brought us home with the final installment of our first year of mixtapes. Mixtape 012 - The Omega Tape was expertly crafted by our tech-savvy wizards, as well as their apprentic. Loosely based on the 1971 classic: The Omega Man, starring Charlton Heston, this playlist is just what you need to survive even the harshest conditions. As we closed out our first year of monthly mixtapes, we decided to do something special for our first release of year 2. Rather than compiling a playlist of songs we love by musicians we hear on the radio, we decided to feature somebody we know personally. Mixtape 013 - The Yankee Tape, features our very own. Let's give it up for the man who not only works magic with the numbers, but can build the beats and bring the bars. The vocals are fire! If we have any other musicians out there, please hit up a member from Team Sierra to be fatured in one of the upcoming mixtapes. As we enter Autumn, we thought it was only right to curate another playlist for your Halloween-related parties and events. Get spooky with us this year by checking out Mixtape 014. Take a journey through the night to the sounds of a haunted disco. This year's Halloween Mixtape is sure to get you on your feet and dancing until the sun comes out and the birds start chirping. Will there be a video of somebody dancing to Empire of The Sun while wearing an Empire of The Sun costume? We sure hope so. Please send all Halloween-related submissions to Team Sierra for judging. There might just be a prize for the Stonefielder with the best costume.
We would like to take a moment with Thanksgiving quickly approaching to send out a great big THANK YOU to all of our Stonefield team members and all of our families and friends who have supported us throughout 2021. A deep, sincere thank you to everyone to continuing the mission and having faith in our cause. We have entered the Fall season together which in many cultures is referred to as “the harvest.” This is typically the time of year to gather the crops and enjoy the fruits of one’s labors, together in community gatherings. For us, that means taking a moment to appreciate our team’s work, our Stonefield work, and most importantly, how we each individually contribute. Sit back and reflect on that, be proud of it, enjoy it. Also, time to start thinking about a badass Halloween costume! As we know, “winter is coming” so enjoy this Fall season before the white walkers return. You may want to get a jump on those Christmas gift orders now! A few things to look forward to as we close out this year: our first annual Oktoberfest!!! our Holiday Party on December 11th in NYC, and a slew of events along the way. For any teams who would like to show off that Stonefield spirit, reach out to us with any events you'd like to attend or host. Team Sierra is always looking for an excuse to make a funny invite and plan a party.

Much is made of the difference between various forms of martial arts and which is the superior art. Jean Claude Van Damme or Steven Seagal? What is common is that all styles attempt to answer: How can one successfully defend oneself against attack by a bigger, stronger, more aggressive opponent? Every country and culture has offered a different answer. Competition is what gives us our answer to determine what style consistently outperforms the others. No style has had a more decisive impact than Brazilian jiu-jitsu. BJJ is a non-striking martial art which at its core is meant to put you in a position where you can control your opponent as much as possible. We highly encourage any of our Stonefield men and women to come try a lesson with resident black-belt Anthony Correa. What you learn about yourself, others, and the spirit of jiu jitsu will speak for itself. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Nest in Rutherford, class is taught at lunch from 12 to 1 PM. Join us for some great learning opportunities at your own speed and pace, whatever is comfortable for you. CrossFit is something I never imagined I would like, but I ended up loving it. It's challenging but you really notice your progression after just a couple of weeks. I went into CrossFit already having a 3-4 day per week workout routine and man did it humble me! You push yourself beyond what you believe your limits are, and that helped motivate me in other areas of my life including work. I sleep better and wake up earlier. I feel healthier in mind, body, and spirit. The instructors are also easygoing and likable. When the gym reopened this week after being closed due to the recent flooding, I was so excited to get back into it that I attended a 7:30 PM class after driving home from Princeton.
My entire life I’ve loved to exercise and when I was in high school, I used to do competitive dancing after school and it was something that helped me to stayed balanced. Now, it’s Crossfit that allows me to have that balance between work and my personal time. Since I started Crossfit my body feels stronger and my mindset healthier. Also, something valuable that I’ve gained from Crossfit is that I have been able to create friendships and connect with other people in Stonefield. I would recommend everyone in Rutherford to join us, it’s very fun.

TEAMS At the very heart of our teaming is the symbol of a circle. This symbol is important as it describes not only the structure of the team, but also ourselves. Carl Jung tells us “The circle is one of the great primordial images of mankind, that in considering the symbol of the circle, we are analyzing the self.” The circle shows us a completed totality. In many ways it shows us the journey as well – the starting point as you leave and go somewhere and come back – and our relationship to the source and the end. It is October and we will return to October in the year to come. The cycle of time as it relates to the cycle of our own lives. The fact is we experience the circle always in our lives. Our greatest challenges come when trying to coordinate our individual circles, our team circles, with the universal life-career circle. That really is the great opportunity of it all – to bring it all together into alignment and enjoy that part of the journey. In a way, all of our journeys are the same in that we are faced with perils, obstacles, and also good fortune, helpers, and reward. That is the common link that we all share is that although no two journeys may be exactly the same, the elements of the journey are the same and so when we look upon our brothers and sisters, we know we have similar paths. We are deeply connected through this shared journey.

Salem office opening Located in the heart of Downtown Salem, Stonefield’s newest office is immersed in the charms of one of the quirkiest historical landmarks in the country. Look out below from our sun deck to view a sea of witch hats, zombie-faced characters, and crowds of people excitedly tuning in to the history of the beloved Bewitched statue. The city is packed with several delicious food and drink spots (which we are making sure to frequent regularly – the nachos at The Derby are Justin-approved), funky local shops, and spooky museums located along classic brick roadways. The month of October is Salem’s spotlight as folks from all over pile in to partake in the festivities, so what better time than now to roll out the red carpet for Stonefield’s gorgeous new office! The Salem crew is thrilled to be a part of this new chapter for the company in a place as unique and cherished as its employees. And of course, the warmest of welcomes must be for our MVP Moose! We hope to see some familiar faces visit soon!

skateboard event Held in August of this year, Stonefield hosted the premier of Travis Cooper's latest film, Main Line. Not only was this a watch party, but it was also a skating event where some of the skaters featured in the film had the chance to show off more of the tricks that landed them a spot in the film. The event took place inside of the nest and brought in a ton of fans who got the chance to watch the film premiere as well as see some of the skaters launching out of the garage and down the ramp into the lower lot. Anybody interested in checking out the film who didn't make it to the event can find it on skatejawn.com/mainline.
