CohenMilstein’sTedLeopoldandLeslieMitchellKroegerrepresent residentsandbusinessesinpropertydamagelawsuitsagainstMichigan stateagencies,includingtheMichiganDepartmentofEnvironment,Great Lakes,andEnergy,andtheMichiganDepartmentofNaturalResources, allegingtheStateblatantlymismanagedandfailedtoproperlymaintain theEdenvilleandSandforddams,whichcatastrophicallyfailedonMay19, 2020.

TedLeopold,PooradRazavi,andDianaMartinrepresenttheplaintiffrelatorinawhistleblowerlawsuitagainstJanssenBiotechforalleged violationsofthefederalAnti-KickbackStatuteandFalseClaimsAct.The plaintiffallegesthemanufacturerofrheumatoidarthritisdrugsRemicade andSimponiARIAviolatedthesefederallawsbyengaginginascheme throughwhichitprovidedphysicianskickbacksintheformoffreepractice managementandinfusionbusinessconsultingservicestoinducethe physicianstopurchaseandadministerthesedrugstopatients,including Medicarebeneficiaries,viainfusionsperformedintheiroffices.Trialisset forOctober2026.
