POWER COST ADJUSTMENT You’ve previously seen Wholesale Power Adjustment (WPA) on your bill under Current Charges. To more accurately describe and reflect the cost of providing power to you, in April we changed the name to Power Cost Adjustment (PCA). This could be an addition or reduction on your bill. Please note: If you are taking advantage of our Even Bill rate, your PCA will not appear as a line item on your bill. Our electric rates remain the lowest in the state for the third consecutive year among all 94 electric utilities according to the Public Service Commission 2025 winter rate survey. Members’ bills are $58 lower per month than the state average.

Since 2013, Cobb EMC has returned nearly $76 million in the form of a Power Cost Adjustment credit on electric bills. We proactively invest in and maintain our system to provide members with the most reliable power in the nation according to the IEEE’s* 2023 and 2024 benchmark year study results. The study ranks Cobb EMC #1 in the nation for providing reliable power.
