A brand dedicated to celebrating the beauty of our native flora and local beach life with a nostalgic charm.

THE ARTIST

This Season is uniquely illustrated by local artist Sophie Rowe. A visual artist, surfer, gardener, embroiderer and mum based in Melbourne, Australia.

Her work combines traditional graphic design, illustration, and hand lettering with naive folk elements to create bold, highly decorative pieces.

With a background in graphic design and advertising, her style is grounded in tactile, graphic imagery and often features floral motifs, expressive typography, and elements of traditional printmaking techniques.

She is most inspired when spending time with her daughter—pottering in the garden or hunting for treasures in op-shops. Seeing the world through her child’s eyes inspires a sense of playfulness and simplicity to her work, reflected in her use of bold shapes and minimal colour palettes.
