every door of every restaurant and ask them if I could sing there. They all said no Until finally the Mexican Cantina let me... but only for tips! On my first night, my mum and dad came, they spent $30 bucks on dinner, and I only made about $1.33. But I was hooked!
The first album I ever bought with my own money was the trio - Linda Ronstadt, Emmy Lou Harris and Dolly Parton.
CM: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Matty: I think the ability to absorb and retain knowledge for example; touch a book, have it memorised, or a person, gain their skills! Or telekinesis.

School reports have a way of stirring up all kinds of emotions. Sometimes it’s relief Sometimes pride And sometimes it’s that little sinking feeling when a result isn’t what you expected.
“A lot of families put pressure on themselves when they see a ‘C’, but it’s often more positive than they realise,” says Eimear Hughes, owner of NumberWorks’nWords Erina and an experienced teacher. “It means their child is tracking where they should be.”
