Parent volunteers and Carpinteria Scouts — including Crosby Bass, pictured at left, and Tate Mayer, right — spent their Saturday morning unloading 800 Christmas trees from Washington state at St. Joseph Church for the annual Boy Scouts Christmas Tree Lot. The lot, at 1532 Linden Ave., is now open on weekdays 3–8 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Check out more photos of the hard-working group on page 11 of this week’s print.
