Pumpkin smash
Sarah Sikich plays pumpkin cornhole on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Carpinteria Community Garden. Sikich and other community members turned their Halloween pumpkins into mush on Saturday during the city’s annual Pumpkin Smash; all those pumpkin guts will be donated to local farms for compost and feed.
