Carpinteria Middle School kids — including the school’s mascot, the Red Hawk — were in high spirits for the 2025 Color Run last Friday. Students, who were doused in all colors of the rainbow while running around the track, brought in $40,000 from donations and sponsorships; the money will fund field trips, assemblies, classroom supplies and more.
