This guide will provide you with some things to do, restaurants to visit and places to go should you arrive a little earlier than check-in time
There is a key safe on the side of the left-hand gate post you will have been emailed the code for this. Please note the alarm will be off for the duration of your stay

CHECK OUT
Check out time is 10 00am on your departure day - this is to allow our cleaners to access the house so it is ready for our next guests Please can you adhere to the following checklist to help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the house:
Load and start the dishwasher if there are dishes to be cleaned
Please put everything back where you found it - games, chairs tidied away etc.
Shut all windows and lock all doors before leaving
Key is put back in key safe by gate for next guests (Lost key fobs are charged at €65)
Empty the bins there are general & recycling bins on the road to Seillans and Bargemon

We hope you have arrived safely and had no trouble finding our home. We know you must be ready to relax and start your holiday, and we want you to make yourself at home right way

Please be aware that as the house is located in rural France wifi cannot always be guaranteed and we do get lots of wildlife at the house! There is also still a drought in Seillans so please avoid excessive use of water as it can get restricted if too much is used.

ALARM
The Alarm will be switched off during your stay so there will be no need to use it
ELECTRICITY
The fuse box is in the cupboard just next to the front door If you have a power cut you can check the fuses This usually will only happen in a big thunderstorm There is a torch on the floor in this cupboard Please replace it after use
FRENCH DOORS
The keys are hanging on the hooks behind the left hand curtains on each doors though please note the doors by the dining table do not open due to a design fault, they get damaged if left open so are permanently locked
TV
Turn on the TV with the LG Remote then change the channels only with the Sky remote. Turn on the Sky with Sky remote – top right hand button is on/off. If it is on the green light will show on the grey Sky+ box Use TV guide to select programme
Please note that Sky repositioned their satellites a couple of years ago and since then the signal has been temperamental We had a large dish installed and constantly have it tuned, butI cannot guarantee it unfortunately. When it is being temperamental it is usually the BBC/ITV channels, which do not work
HOUSE GUIDE - INSIDE
What to expect in the house...
Linen / Towels- All beds will be made up with sheets and duvets, with a hand towel and bath Towels supplied per person and bathmats in each bath/shower room Pool towels are provided for use by the swimming pool, please do not take them away from the house.
Kitchen Equipment
All necessary cooking, serving and dining equipment required for the number of people accommodated will be available There are plastic cups for drinking by the swimming pool and in the outdoor areas Please do not use glass in these areas for everybody’s safety. There are plastic/melamine plates, cups and smaller knives, forks and spoons for little people
Laundry Facilities
Washing machine, iron and ironing board provided We also have an outdoor rotary dryer to hang washing
Consumables
We provide washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, liquid soap, dishcloth, bin liners, loo rolls and basic cleaning materials to cover your arrival. Please purchase additional items as per your own requirements
HOUSE GUIDE -OUTSIDE
Swimming Pool
Please use your discretion, and do not let your children in the pool unsupervised if they are unable to swim on their own
The pool is heated If the pool filter has blocked you will quickly notice the pool becoming murky and this could also potentially cause the heating to turn off There is a net to clear the pool of the daily leaves. Please do not touch any of the pool filter equipment Please put the cover on at night to keep the warmth in
The cushions for the sun loungers and chairs will either be in the pool house on the sofa, or inside the house in the big wooden box in the hallway. If there is heavy rain please put them under cover in the pool house so they remain dry for your next use If it is windy please put the parasol down to stop it getting damaged
Smoking
Please do not smoke inside the house. If you smoke outside please make sure you extinguish your cigarettes properly as there is a high risk of forest fires in the area during the summer months
Garden
Please be aware that there is an electric fence running around the perimeter of the property to keep out the wild boar Please keep the gates from the driveway, garden & patios closed to keep the wild boar out at night!

SHOPPING
There is a good supermarket in Fayence, which is on the way to the house from Nice Super U Fayence, 86 Route de Frejus, 83440 Fayence Turn left at the roundabout just before HSBC
It is open Mon to Sat 8.30am to 8.00pm and 8.30am - 1.00pm on Sundays.
There are small, local grocery stores in Seillans and a Proxi in Bargemon 7 30-7 30pm Mon-Sat closed lunch 12 30-3 30 & Sun 7 30-12 30) which are good enough for your daily needs There is a butchers and a bakery in both villages. Though please be aware the small shops still close at lunchtimes in France. Market Day in Bargemon Thursday morning & Fayence Saturday morning
There are Pharmacies in both Seillans 9 00-7 00pm Mon-Sat though remember closed lunchtimes 12-3.00pm and Bargemon 9.00-6.30pm Mon-Sat closed lunch 12.00-2.00pm. For your larger retail therapy you have Cannes, Nice and Antibes all around an hour away
Beaches
The coast and beaches are within easy reach, as are Nice, St Tropez, St Raphael, Cannes and Antibes. There are multiple different coastal areas to explore within an hour from the house. Favourite family beaches are at St Aygulf and the beach club is Le Mas d'Estel There is also an Aqualand in Frejus near the beach
There are some wonderful beachfront restaurants in Cannes and Nice where you can also hire sun beds f !
