About the Performers

Greg Howe is a legendary guitarist known for his technical mastery. A member of the 2018 GRAMMY®-nominated band Protocol IV. He’s worked with musical icons like Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Billy Sheehan, Victor Wooten, Dennis Chambers, and many more. His latest album, Wheelhouse, was named one of the top twenty guitar albums of the decade by Guitar World.

Stu Hamm is one of today's leading bassists; Hamm has released six critically acclaimed studio recordings and has enjoyed recording and touring stints with guitar icons Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Greg Howe and Frank Gambale. His long-time associations with Vai and Satriani garnered him award-winning recognition on a global scale, and as a result, Hamm has received an extensive list of accolades such as being voted "Best Jazz Bassist" and "Best Rock Bassist" multiple times in magazine polls conducted by several major print publications worldwide.

Upcoming Concerts and Events

Join Belmont University’s College of Music and Performing Arts for Sounds of Belmont: The 36th Annual President’s Concert & Reception on Saturday, April 25th in the Fisher Center at Belmont University. Experience an evening of stories and songs to support our talented students. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a festive dessert reception for all guests and performers. The purchase of a ticket to this concert and reception will benefit endowed music and theatre scholarship funds for students in the college. Premier works from the College of Music and Performing Arts Fall 2025-Spring 2026 performance season will be showcased. This concert and reception is celebrating its thirty-sixth year (formerly the President’s Concert and Reception).
