Looking Ahead at La Costa
As another exciting NCAA Golf Championship comes to a close and the June gloom gives way to sunny Southern California afternoons, summer is officially arriving at The Club at La Costa. We have an incredible lineup of events and experiences planned, and we look forward to celebrating the season with you and your family.
The fun begins this Saturday with our annual Member Padres Outing to Petco Park as we cheer on the Padres against the New York Mets. Before heading to the ballpark, be sure to stop by Livewell Boutique from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to celebrate Bartholomew Bear's Birthday with sweet treats, refreshing sips, and a chance to win a Jellycat favorite.
Family-friendly summer programming continues with the launch of our Sunset Series beginning Thursday, June 18, with Sunset Social in Champions Club. These allages evenings will feature games, specialty menus, and activities designed for the whole family to enjoy every Thursday throughout the season. For those looking for a more relaxed adults-only atmosphere, Champions Club transforms into Champions Lounge on Friday evenings, offering a laid-back setting with curated music, featured cocktails, and seasonal menu specials. And don't miss out on Sunset Grill dinners at Champions Club Sunday's 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm where we fire up the grill for an all-you-can-eat BBQ with all your summer favorites
Tiki Social is back at Edge Pool for another summer of poolside fun, and one of our most popular events returns on Saturday, June 20, as Comedy Night takes center stage. Headlined by the hilarious Kira Soltanovich and featuring Patrick DeGuire, this promises to be an evening filled with laughter, great company, and unforgettable memories.
Golf enthusiasts can also look forward to the Club's annual Member/Member Tournament on June 27 & 28. This premier event showcases some of our most passionate golfers and celebrates a year of competitive play. With a Friday evening Cocktail Party and Dinner to kick off the festivities, it’s sure to be a memorable weekend highlighting the camaraderie and spirit that make the club so special.
And if that isn't enough to kick off your summer, be sure to reserve your spot for our Star-Spangled Spectacular Fourth of July celebration. Featuring festive food and drinks, live entertainment, family activities, and the highly anticipated return of live fireworks, The Club at La Costa will be the place to celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary.

NCAA Women’s Results
The nation's best women's collegiate golfers recently competed at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa as the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship returned to Carlsbad. Over six days of competition, 30 of the top programs in the country battled through stroke play before advancing to the match play portion of the championship
The championship showcased incredible talent, with Texas sophomore Farah O'Keefe capturing the individual national title at 12-under par after four rounds of stroke play
In the team competition, Stanford continued its collegiate golf dominance, defeating USC in the championship match to claim the program's fourth NCAA title and third national championship in the past five seasons The Cardinal advanced through match play before securing the title on the North Course at La Costa
The championship once again highlighted La Costa's reputation as one of the premier venues in collegiate golf, hosting the nation's top players on one of the sport's biggest stages Members and guests were treated to world-class competition throughout the week, further cementing La Costa's place in NCAA Championship history.

Step onto the South Course for a playful twist on the game you know. Summer Footgolf invites guests of all ages to kick their way across the fairways at golden hour, blending the spirit of soccer with the setting of championship golf. Available Tuesdays through Thursdays from June 11 through July 19, this 9-hole experience takes place on the front nine of the South Course, with tee times beginning at 4:00 PM.
Members enjoy complimentary play. Member guests are welcome at $50 per person. Reservations include a golf cart and soccer ball.
