HELLO EVERYONE!

“It’s been another fantastic month for Kicks. Since September 2025, we’ve engaged 450 unique participants, with 150 young people competing in tournaments and 140 taking part in our educational workshops. We’ve also proudly supported 54 participants with SEND, ensuring our sessions remain inclusive and accessible to all.

Throughout the month, participants have taken part in a variety of exciting challenges to win prizes, and we were delighted to launch our brand-new darts session, ‘Kicks On Target’, which even welcomed some special guests.

We’re looking to build on this momentum and we hope to see some new faces joining us at sessions this month.”

Thank you for your continued support, Coops

what benefit they get from these sessions. We regularly hold these Youth Voice Sessions at the start of play to enable us to provide the very best delivery possible going forwards for young people in our communities.

HAVING THEIR SAY... IT’S THE KICKS WAY »

So, we would like to say a massive thank you to our 36-strong Mexborough crew for letting us know their thoughts and for two brilliant football sessions!

COMPETITION TIME

My England

IT’S COMING HOME!

Name the starting XI you think Thomas Tuchel will go with in the first game of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 26 tournament.

The entrant with the most correct names in the line-up will win a prize of their choice from the Doncaster Rovers Club Shop (not the till though!)

In the event of a tie, substitutes will be taken into account if they enter the field of play.

Ask your Kicks coach for a form. How will you compare to our coaches?

BAR FOR A BAR!

Well, it certainly took us quite a while to get a breakthrough in our ‘Bar for a Bar’ Challenge!

Simple rules: Hit the crossbar from the halfway line, get a bar of chocolate. What could be easier. Soooooo...

» 22 participants

» 44 shots

» 43 misses!

» 1 direct hit

Well done (eventually) to Klay. Coaches Jamie and Mark couldn’t keep eating all the chocolate after every session!

Excuse the quality of the pictures, this was mainly due to the wayward shooting!

WHAT IS IT?

Premier League Kicks uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential. The programme creates opportunities for young people who are at risk of anti-social behaviour, youth violence and/or from high need areas to regularly engage in football, sport, mentoring and personal development opportunities.

Launched in 2006 as a collaboration between the Premier League and the Metropolitan Police to create safer and more inclusive communities, Premier League Kicks has had a significant impact on people and places for 20 years.

KICKS ON TARGET

Lets. Play. Darts!

We recently trialled our brand shiny new darts night, ‘Kicks on Target’ in the Belle Vue Bar at the Eco-Power Stadium. The night was a great success and we were joined by a few special guests, including DRFC owner Terry Bramall and First Team Manager Grant McCann.

As a result, these sessions will now take place

Sessions are designed to be fun and improve maths as well as darts skills along the way.

There will be a tuck shop and parents are welcome to stay for the duration of the session. Details are:
