Adopt-A-Road May 3 2025 rd
2 members Total 2 hours On a Saturday morning, members met with Kiwanians and Builders Clubbers to clean up a city-assigned street, as well as the middle school campus.

Sherwood Robin Hood Festival July 19th 2025
3 members Total 9 hours We had people working in a specific booth at the festival We were making and selling “Elephant Ears”, helping a nearby Kiwanis Club 14 fundraise.
Making Cards for the Ronald McDonald House July 26th 2025 3 members Total 4 hours At a Division Council Meeting Our members made cards that were taken to a local Ronald McDonald House to be shared with the residents.

Wildlife Festival Face Painting August 1 2025
st 4 members Total 26 hours Also a fundraiser for the Pacific Northwest District Project Those doing face painting asked for donations to be given to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. They raised $400.

Adopt-a-Road September 6 2025 th
3 members Total 3 hours Club is asked to clean up our assigned road at least twice a year Our Kiwanis and Builders Clubbers often join us, so this can also be a Kiwanis Family event.

Face Painting at a the Tigard Farmers Market October 5 2025 th
5 members Total 32 hours This was a second effort to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities The members worked alongside the Tigard Kiwanis at their booth at the Tigard Farmers Market We raised $115.

Pumpkin Painting at Merrill Gardens October 18th 2025 Real pumpkin painting from one of the participants
17 members Total 27 hours Members worked with residents of a local assisted living facility to decorate pumpkins for their living space.

Letters to Vets November 4 2025 th
14 members Total 14 hours Time was spent writing thank you letters to local veterans Letters were given to the vets at a ceremony honoring them.

Thanksgiving Wreathes at Merrill Gardens November 23rd 2025 10 members Total 15 hours We created fun, Thanksgiving-themed wreathes with the residents of this assisted living facility.

5 members Total 9 hours This was an Interclub project that we organized with a club from another Key Club division On a late afternoon, members from both clubs worked with local city personnel to pull ivy off the trails of a nearby park.

Give-N-Gobble Turkey Trot November 27th 2025 4 members Total 10 hours On Thanksgiving Day, our members showed up at a local 5K race to help distribute water and snacks to the runners.

3 members Total 5 hours We decorated Christmas tree ornaments with the residents of the assisted living facility.

Food Distribution for the Western Farm Workers Association December 23 2025 rd
11 members Total 55 hours During the holiday break, members traveled to a nearby city to help with a food distribution project for families in need This was also an Interclub project with other Key Clubs.

2 members Total 12 hours Raised $178 to help pay for their trip to the International Convention.

Sherwood High School Bake Sale September 23rd 2025
18 members Total 62 hours Raised $417 It was determined that funds would be needed to purchase materials for some of the club’s upcoming service projects, so the bake sale was an effort to get those funds in place Projects with an assisted living facility were funded from this event.

Bingo Night October 24th 2025
7 members Total 22 hours Raised $226 Members sponsored a Bingo Night to raise funds for attending the District Convention. A winning prize

Chocolate fountain was the highlight of the night
25 members Total 147 hours Members assisted the Tigard Kiwanis with a fundraising event They created the advertising flyer, presold tickets and showed up that evening to help with whatever needed doing The Kiwanis raised 32 $1835
Dodgeball Tournament January 31 2026 st
13 members Total 34 hours This is an annual event the club sponsors The winning team receives a trophy Teams pay an entry fee and there is a charge to be a spectator $127 was made 33 Everyone had an amazing time.

Oregon Food Bank Once-a-Month 36 Members Total 136 hours Once-a-month, on Saturday mornings, we helped our sponsoring Kiwanis Club with a project at the nearest Food Bank.

DCON Recap Presentation April 27th 2025
9 members Total 36 hours Members who went to the 2025 Pacific Northwest District Convention created and presented a slide show about their experiences at a special Kiwanis meeting set-up for that single purpose.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing December 13th 2025 5 members Total 19 hours Our Kiwanis Club invited us to do this project with them, and together we were able to raise $741.31.

12 members Total 12 hours Students decorated envelopes that are still to be given, with cards inside, to the hospitalized children who will be receiving the wigs This is a Kiwanis division project.

2 members Total 2 hours Our members helped make Random Acts of Kindness sticky notes that were made available to the middle school student body during Builders Club Week.

Middle School Back-ToSchool Night September 18th 2025 2 members Total 4 hours Our members set up an exhibit to encourage attending parents and students to look into the activities of the middle school Builders 44 Club.

63 members Total 31 hours At a meeting members worked on placing positive messages on clothespins that would later be used during Key Club Week to flood the campus on Random Acts of Kindness Day.

1 member Total 1 hour The pumpkins painted were then used for several weeks after the event as a display in the main corridor of the school.

Builders Club Making Paper Poppies October 30th 2025 1 member Total 1 hour A Key Clubber helped the Builders Club members make decorative paper poppies to be used in a middle school veterans’ recognition program.

5 members Total 5 hours Regular lunch bags were turned into “Reindeer Bags”, preparatory to filling them wth goodies to be given as gifts to the middle school staff.

15 members Total 15 hours In an hour’s time, the Key Clubbers and Builders Club members filled the previously decorated Reindeer Bags with “goodies” and placed them in the Faculty Room for the teachers and staff to enjoy the next day, the last day before the winter holiday break! 50
Baking for Teachers January 20th 2026
18 members Total 41 hours Students honored the high school staff by bringing in baked goods before school and setting up a display for them to enjoy all day long.

Campus Recycle Project All Year Long 3 members Total 21 hours We operate a campus recycling project with bins in a variety of places on campus Members periodically empty them and take the items to the local recycle center.

Fantasy Yarn Wigs April 26 2025 th
3 members Total 9 hours This is, (the project is still ongoing), a Kiwanis Greater Portland Area Division Project The goal is to create 30 wigs for hospitalized children undergoing chemotherapy who need a nonallergenic, uplifting way to cover their heads.

Bake Sale for Doernbecher June 27 2025
th 6 members Total 26 hours Members held a bake sale in the parking lot of a local chain store We raised $416 The club gave the funds to the Kiwanis Club of Tigard, to be added to their donation to the Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program cause.

8 members Total 25 hours Key and Builders Clubbers worked together to prepare and display an exhibit at their school’s Freaky Friday event, to collect funds for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Other Key Clubbers helped out with different booths at the event.

Fantasy Yarn Wigs with Builders Club November 6th 2025 12 members Total 18 hours Members attended a Builders Club meeting where everyone worked to create flowers for yarn wigs that’ll be given to children in local hospitals who are losing hair as they battle cancer.

Cards for Hospitalized Children December 11th 2025 50 members Total 25 hours During a club meeting, members created amazing cards which were then delivered to hospitalized children The project was a joint one done with another club on campus that was invited to attend the meeting.

DCM (Ronald McDonald House) January 17 2026 th
11 members Total 59 hours Members traveled to Portland to provide a sandwich lunch for the 70 residents of the Ronald McDonald House They purchased supplies and made the sandwiches, while also creating personalized cards to give to the children.

10 members attended with 3 chaperones, who were in charge of all students in the division One club member took first place in the Video contest One member was installed as the division 2025-26 LTG.

Graduating Officers with Lawn Signs May 16th 2025 Members honored the graduating officers This included giving them Key Club lawn signs.

2 members Total 7 days One attending member completed the Master Class for the Global Leadership Certificate Both members received excellent training on a number of club-related issues, bringing new expertise back to the club to benefit everyone.

2 members Total 8 hours Our LTG and club President attended this training event, sponsored by the Pacific Northwest District.

Presidents Council Meetings Once-a-Month
3 members Total 68 hours One of the attending members was the Division LTG, who spent many hours preparing for each of the monthly meetings The club President was a regular attendee, and the club Vice 67 President attended several of the meetings, as well.

37 members The club Board worked to create a special event to give new members pertinent information about how to be the best member possible.

Officer Elections January 15th 2026 14 members were elected into positions There was 1 President, 4 Vice Presidents, a Secretary, a Treasurer, some Executive Assistants and a couple of Class Representatives.

Exhibit About Kindness Project Over Several Dates in Febuary and March 5 members
Members worked on creating an exhibit to display during District Convention 2026 on Saturday at the Exhibit Hall The exhibit shared information about how to do a “kindness” project on Thursday of Key Club Week.

Meetings All Year Long 32 Board and club meetings Average attendance 85% with 55-65 students at most meetings since the start of the current school year Board meetings were always held before school on the mornings before a club meeting, and club meetings were held during the school’s “Flex” period on the first and third Thursdays of each month Meetings always had a prepared slide show to showcase upcoming projects and activities and at many meetings members participated in short service projects.
