Sherwood Robin Hood Festival
It was only 80* that day, so Anthony and George, “slaving” over the hot grease, frying the elephant ears and beignets, sweat only a little! There were five members from our club who worked the late afternoon shift on Saturday at the Tualatin Kiwanis booth at the Sherwood Robin Hood Festival. Christie assembled the pulled pork sandwiches. Jaclynn stretched the dough. Sue worked the “cash box” and Anthony and George did the frying! In addition, there were four Key Clubbers from Sherwood High School who helped during other shifts. It’s always nice to help another Kiwanis Club, and it’s a long two days for the Tualatin Club if they don’t get a little assistance from some of the rest of us. Tualatin uses the funds made from this project to help manage their Key Club expenses. They sponsor three Key Clubs!
