The site locates in the inner side of a block and is connected with the city though two gaps. What the workshop should look like through these two gaps from the city . How people enter the site and the workshop though the urban gaps. What they would experience after they walk into the site.

ROUTE Public: It is a transition between city and the workshop. Visitors walk pass the print lab and see participants working. Then they can choose to enter it or go back to the city. Private: As a public space for the workshop, it is flexible to accommodate activities like informal presentation or discussion.
PROGRAM Functions are planned around the courtyards. With the opening facades, the courtyards could be seen as an extension of program. So when the indoor space cannot accommodate the activities, they can extend to the outside.
