As the strongest-performing Champagne brand on Liv-Ex’s 2025 Power 100 (ranked 6th, up from 37th in 2024), Krug is outperforming its peers in market price and average trade price, delivering consistently strong returns, even during the recent market downturn of 2022-2025. Released in very small quantities at £1,470 per 6x75 in bond, Krug 2013 offers investors the chance to own a prized asset within, and key component of the Champagne 50 index, a market which has arrested the slump of the past two and a half years and has now posted six months of gains. For context, Krug Vintage 2006 and 2008 have posted year-to-date appreciation of 3.6% and 3.3% respectively; both scored 97 points by Antonio Galloni.
