Old Cliftonian Society

For 130 years, the Old Cliftonian Society (OCS) has served as the vital link between Clifton College and its global alumni network. Managed by Old Cliftonians (OCs) for Old Cliftonians, the Society is dedicated to fostering lifelong personal and professional connections, while supporting the College’s future.

Key objectives of the OCS:

• Global connection: We maintain a thriving community through both domestic and international events and reunions, ensuring every member stays informed and engaged.

• Professional networking: Our worldwide networks provide a platform for alumni of all backgrounds to connect, collaborate, and support one another’s careers.

• Philanthropic impact: The OCS drives essential fundraising for College projects, such as previously funding major assets like the Chellaram Sports Complex (Beggar’s Bush playing fields).

• Financial stewardship: We manage over £7million in the Clifton College Endowment Fund (CCEF), providing bursarial and other forms of financial support to the next generation of students as well as support for worthwhile projects.

By bridging the gap between the past and present, the OCS ensures that the spirit of Clifton remains a powerful force in the lives of its alumni and the development of the College.

The OCS connects over 8,500 alumni across over 100 countries worldwide, bridging 130 years of history with modern support.

• Networking breakfasts: Regular sessions in the Cricket Pavilion for OCs and parents.

• OC Sports Clubs: Competitive and social teams in a range of sports including cricket (the Cricketer Cup), golf (Halford Hewitt Cup), rugby, football, and shooting to name just a few.

• Endowment management: The £7million CCEF is overseen by nominated OCs, ensuring the College’s future through strategic support and projects.
