Welcome Welcome to the players, parents and coaches from Sedbergh. This is always a competitive and challenging fixture and we appreciate the efforts in time and travel to continue this fixture and look forward to another physical contest on the Close. Clifton come into this game after strong start to the season last week with a win against Harrow, and we are all excited for the challenge of taking on Sedbergh. I would like to welcome not only our own parents but especially those travelling from Sedbergh to Clifton today. The boys have been excellent so far in the way they have gelled together as a group in quick time. The effort they have put into training has been second to none. After a win last week in the first game of the season against Harrow, we are really looking forward to the challenge of taking on Sedbergh this weekend! Hello and welcome to the close, where we are about to face Sedbergh in the second game of the Daily Mail Cup. After a hard-fought win for both the 1st and 2nd XV’s against Harrow, the boys are ready to undergo our next challenge. The 1st XV came away with 38-7 at the final whistle, with the 2nd XV displaying their hard work, securing a 68-7 win.
